Man Dies Suddenly In Boating Accident
Earlier this summer in mid-August a group of four people went out for a boat ride on what was likely planned to be a fun evening out on the water at Lake of the Ozarks. Unfortunately, that boat outing ended with a 58-year-old man dead in a boating accident on Lake of the Ozarks. According to police, the driver of the boat failed to keep a watchful lookout and hit a bluff, causing the boat to crash. The accident occurred at night-time, around 9 p.m. on a Saturday night. The boating accident injured two passengers and the driver and killed one other passenger. The man that was killed was pronounced dead by the coroner before 2 a.m. that Sunday morning. None of the passengers on the boat were wearing flotation safety devices at the time of the incident, according to the report and police.
